Content Rules

The content rules will eventually be determined by the community. But we have to start somewhere and that somewhere is here.

Articles

We use ModClub to moderate content based on the following rules:

• This post threatens, glorifies, insights, or encourages violence, suicide or selfharm.

• This post threatens or promotes terrorism or violent extremism.

• This post contains or depicts sexual violence, sexual assault, or child sexual exploitation.

• This post promotes violence against, threatens, or harasses people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.

• This post shares adult image or live video content, or intimate photos or video produced or distributed without consent.

• This post has an unlawful purpose or facilitates illegal activities (ex. selling, buying, or facilitating transactions in illegal goods or services).

• This post contains (or threatens to expose) other people’s private information (such as home phone number and address) without their express authorization and permission.

• This post manipulates or interferes in elections or other civic processes.

• This post impersonates individuals, groups, or organisations or shares manipulated media intended to mislead, deceive, or harm others.

• This post violates others’ intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark.
